Subscribe to Bio-DiTRL

Subscription to the Bio-DiTRL database is a simple procedure in which the user selects a username and password with which to access the database, in addition to the necessary personal information.

New subscribers are emailed a password and have automatic login privileges on the database.(subject to the terms of use)

The following fields are part of the new subscriber form.

Username (required)

A username of alphanumeric characters of a minimum of 3 characters to a maximum of 15 characters. The username is unique and is used to identify each user.

Password (required)

A password of alphanumeric characters of a minimum of 3 characters to a maximum of 15 characters. Users should not use the same passwords that they use for online banking and other secure transactions since Bio-DiTRL passwords are not encrypted.

First Name (required)

The user's given name, to a maximum of 20 characters.

Last Name (required)

The user's family name, to a maximum of 20 characters.

Institution (required)

The name of the institution with which the user is affiliated, to a maximum of 30 characters.

Email (required)

The user's email address, typically of the form "a@a.aaa". It should contain at least 7 characters to a maximum of 100.

Phone (required)

The user's phone number, typically of the form "(nnn)nnn-nnnn". It should contain at least 7 characters to a maximum of 20.

Profession (required)

The user's profession. The choices include Instructor, Student and Corporate. If any of these do not apply, users should select Other.

Street Address (optional)

The user's street or mailing address. Three lines are available for the address to be entered as it would appear on a mailed item. Each line has a maximum of 100 characters.

City (optional)

The city in which the user resides, to a maximum of 20 characters.

Province/State (optional)

The province or state in which the user resides, to a maximum of 20 characters.

Postal Code / Zip (optional)

The postal code or zip code for the user's mailing address, to a maximum of 10 characters.

Country (optional)

The country in which the user resides, to a maximum of 20 characters.

Fax (optional)

The user's fax number, typically of the form "(nnn)nnn-nnnn". It should contain at least 7 characters to a maximum of 20.

If any of the information entered is considered incomplete or inaccurate by the Bio-DiTRL managing editor the editor may contact the user or suspend the user's subscription without notice.
