Description: Coriarachne utahensis is a thomisid or crab spider that is widely distributed across North America. It is often found under pieces of bark on tree trunks. Thomisid spiders have the first and second pairs of legs rotated forward in a crab-like position. Also their cephalothorax and abdomen are flattened dorsal-ventrally. This allows them to crawl through small crevices. This specimen was collected from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Author(s): Donald J.
